Especies utilizadas: probablemente pavo salvaje
In-game[]
Los pavos son otra ave con diferencias de género, y también solo pueden volar por un período de tiempo limitado, un rasgo común en las aves de caza (el grupo de aves que incluye pollos, codornices, pantalones y pavos)
In Real Life[]
Wild turkeys are brown-blackish birds. Males have a unique tail, which extends into a fan, a way to attract a female. Males also have blue faces, and a red wattle and a red, erectile snood around the head. They also have a pony tail like structure called a beard. Females on the other hand, do not posses the bright colors of males, and they just have a light pink face, and a tiny snood and wattle. Females also don’t usually fan their tail (although they rarely do it, which there is a picture of.). Turkeys are domesticated for their meat, and are popular in farms. They are famous for gobbling back to people when they gobble. They are a popular food in Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Trivia[]
- The female turkey is inaccurately able to gobble, but in real life, only the males gobble.
- Unlike peafowl, many players that are girls in real life use the hen.
- When the male turkey struts in game, it flaps its feathers, but in real life, they hold their feathers down when strutting.
- Domestic turkeys do not fly, but wild turkeys do, and so can feather family’s, which can mean that the feather family turkey is based off of the wild turkey.
