The griffin is currently one of the tallest birds, only being outgrown by the Phoenix And Moa. It's currently the only quadrupedal bird in the game, which means it walks on four legs. This is the only bird to have 3 life stages: baby, youngling and adult.
In Mythology[]
The Griffin (aka Gryphon or Griffon) with the head, wings and talons of an eagle, but body and tail of a lion. It was made out to be a powerful and majestic creature, the king of all beasts. They're usually depicted guarding treasure. They have a close relative known as the Hippogriff.
